Yeah, I've noticed a sharp increase in prices of Russian coins recently! I've always fancied getting my paws on one of the rather nice 18th Century Russian coins such as this beauty:

But then there's the problems of fakes, Russian customs, soaring prices, et cetera...

Unfortunatly not only chinese (btw it easy to recognize the chinese fakes). There are a lot of russians and ukranians fakes, that's why I've stopped to collect my native coins. They are rised dramatically, but not only prices - fakes as well.

At least when I was in UA few years ago could get decent fake of Konstantin ruble of 1825 for about 20 Hr. Only times I saw other coins were USSR coins, which have little or no interest to me.

You can get the 10 Roubles in your change in Russia, I got one and though it was amazing, considering 10 roubles is worth like 20p, yet to buy these things they'll charge like 3-4 at least.
A new 10 Rouble coin has come out this month apparently!
